Independent Clinical Formulary & Stock Telemetry

CBPM Registry is the United Kingdom's independent, patient-led pharmaceutical directory, real-time stock monitoring utility, and clinical informatics platform for Cannabis-Based Products for Medicinal Use (CBPMs).

Our Mission

CBPM Registry was established to resolve the critical information deficit confronting UK medical cannabis patients and GMC-registered clinical prescribers. Since the legal rescheduling of cannabis-based medicinal products in November 2018, tens of thousands of patients with treatment-resistant chronic conditions rely on these medications. However, the UK supply chain has historically suffered from fragmented stock availability, opaque clinic pricing structures, and unreliable inventory data.

Our sole mandate is to bring transparency, predictability, and scientific rigour to UK medical cannabis by delivering objective, real-time formulary data, multi-pharmacy stock telemetry, and third-party laboratory verification.

The Four Pillars of CBPM Registry

Standardized Master Formulary

Comprehensive monographs detailing cultivar lineage, chemotype classifications (Type 1 THC-dominant, Type 2 Balanced, Type 3 CBD), dominant terpene profiles (Myrcene, Caryophyllene, Limonene, etc.), microbial irradiation standards, and extraction formats.

Live Stock Telemetry Radar

Real-time stock indicators tracking inventory transitions across major UK dispensing pharmacies (including Curaleaf, Specials Pharma, Mamedica, IPS, Cantourage, and others), preventing medication lapses and prescribing bottlenecks.

Certificate of Analysis (COA) Vault

Batch-specific third-party laboratory documentation validating active cannabinoid potency variances, pesticide screening, residual solvent assays, moisture content, and heavy metal testing.

CQC Clinic Fee Auditing

Unbiased, objective fee audits of Care Quality Commission (CQC) registered private clinics, calculating true 12-month first-year maintenance costs factoring consultation fees, follow-up intervals, and repeat prescription handling surcharges.

Absolute Commercial Independence

CBPM Registry operates under a strict neutrality charter. We do not operate a clinic, we do not dispense medications, and we do not sell pharmaceutical products. Furthermore:

  • Zero Affiliate Commissions: We do not take referral commissions, lead-generation fees, or kickbacks from any private medical cannabis clinic or dispensing pharmacy.
  • No Paid Placement or Endorsements: Formulary listings, search algorithms, and stock radar statuses cannot be purchased or boosted by pharmaceutical producers or distributors.
  • Strict Non-Promotional Compliance: In adherence to UK Human Medicines Regulations 2012 (Regulation 280), all content is purely factual, educational, and non-promotional.

UK Regulatory Classification & Safety Notice

All medical cannabis formulations listed on CBPM Registry are classified as Schedule 2 Controlled Drugs under the Misuse of Drugs Regulations 2001 and are Prescription-Only Medicines (POM). In the United Kingdom, they may only be prescribed by medical practitioners registered on the General Medical Council (GMC) Specialist Register for specific clinical indications where established licensed treatments have proven ineffective or unsuitable.

CBPM Registry does not provide medical advice. Patients must consult with their GMC specialist consultant regarding diagnosis, eligibility, dosing titration, and clinical management.

Clinical Informatics & Editorial Standards

Our platform is maintained by an interdisciplinary team comprising clinical informatics specialists, software engineers, and patient advocates. Data revisions occur continuously through automated pharmacy synchronisation daemons and audited manual reviews.
